As avid snowboarders, my friends and I decided to take a trip to Whistler for our winter vacation. Our goal was to experience the world-class skiing and snowboarding facilities that the resort is famous for and to have an adventure of a lifetime. Getting to Whistler

Flying: If you are coming from another country, flying to Vancouver International Airport is your best option. From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus or rent a car to get to Whistler, which is about a 2-hour drive from Vancouver.

Driving: If you are travelling from within Canada or the United States, driving to Whistler is an option. The Sea-to-Sky Highway is a scenic drive from Vancouver to Whistler and offers stunning views of the mountains.

Accommodation

Staying in Whistler is an incredible experience, with a variety of hotels, lodges, and vacation rentals to choose from. Depending on your budget and preferences, you can find something that suits your needs.

Hotels: Whistler has many luxurious hotels that offer a wide range of amenities and services. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is one of the most popular hotels in Whistler, located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. It offers a spa, multiple restaurants, and ski-in/ski-out access.
